Foodie Delights was created in 2014 by Chef Marly. She have a vision for a tribe / a community where food brought people together. In 2017 Chef Marly met business partner Major Warren and it was a perfect fit. They decided to combine their passions, cannabis and culinary, to create a unique company that caters to both sides. Foodie Delights is not only a catering event planning company. They are a company that also creates experiences.
Chef Marly, is a classically trained chef. She is a graduate of Baltimore International College. Having also worked abroad, Chef Marly did apprenticeships in Ireland, and in Virginia at Virginia County Cavern’s The Park Hotel. Her extensive culinary experience also extends to some of the finest dining establishments in the Washington, DC metropolitan area including The Palm, Jack Rose Dining Saloon, and Park Tavern as lead Chef.
Chef Marly is a fighter and a survivor. She fought the battle of ovarian cancer twice and won both times…a true survivor with a winning attitude in life! As a result, she has been lauded six consecutive years at the Ovarian Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser “Turn Up The Heat” gala. There, Chef Marly has also been a featured chef. Together with other notable local chefs, she’s helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help eradicate ovarian cancer which is one of the many causes she champions.
Foodie Delights is Chef Marly’s passion, and her baby. She and her partner Major will make it a household name that will bring you Delights and more!
